Karee River Camp
Karee River Camp offers basic sites for caravan or tent within 40m of the Groot Marico River (bass, barbel, yellow fish) that flows through the farm. The camp is large and spacious, and set in a beautiful nature spot that offers peace and tranquillity. It is mountain facing with stunning sunrise and sunset views. Hot water is generated by a gas geyser. There is an electrical point 200m from the camp site to charge appliances and there is also a fridge/freezer available at this point. There are 2 “camp base buildings” that are under cover and these buildings offer a kitchen area with a double zinc, a table and chairs, shelves to unpack all your goodies, a gas 2 plate burner, gas for hot water, solar lights. There is an undercover toilet, shower and braai area. We allow a maximum of 30 guests. Guests must bring their own bedding and camping /cooking equipment.

Le Butterfly
Le Butterfly cottage has two private bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. One room has a Queen-size bed and one room has two single beds. There are also two single beds in the open plan living area to accommodate a further two guests. The unit is self catering and has a fully equipped kitchen with potjie pot, gas skottel braai and gas stove with oven. The dining room and sitting room is open plan with an indoor fireplace. The unit has an undercover patio with built in braai, patio furniture and patio mister sprayers. The outdoor facilities boasts an outdoor shower (stoute stort), firepit and natural rock splash pool. The unit is mountain facing and within 200m of the river. There are fans in each room and a radio/cd/usb. Windows have mosquito gauze

Firefly
Firefly has a bedroom furnished with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second room is furnished with two single beds and makes use of a separate bathroom. There is a spacious open area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining and sitting room. Outside is a large undercover patio with patio furniture, open built in braai and a splash pool. The cottage is within 40m of the Groot Marico River that flows through the farm. the cottage is off the grid.

Travelling with children?
Children of all ages are welcome and we have baby baths and mattresses on request.
Children 5 and under are not charged. Children 6-11 are charged a fixed rate of R225 per child per night in the 3 cottages, and R100 per child at the camp site and children 12 and over are charged the adult rate.
How to confirm?
Deposits are required to confirm a booking, usually 50% but sometimes as high as 100% depending on season and time till check-in.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation 2 weeks before stay date – 25% of deposit is refundable.
Cancellation less than 2 weeks before stay date – no refund.
