About Donkerhoek Country Living

Located in Donkerhoek, Donkerhoek Country Living offers accommodation for up to 12 guests. The house is fully solar powered and has a rainwater harvesting system. The Groenkloof Nature Reserve, Voortrekker Monument , Sammy Marks Museum and other attractions are within easy reach.

Self Catering Accommodation

Donkerhoek Country Living is a self catering holiday home with three bedrooms. The main bedroom has a King-size bed, two child beds, ample cupboard space and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and a basin.

The second bedroom has a King-size bed, which can be converted into two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a toilet and a basin. The third bedroom has two double bunk beds, an iron and ironing board and a large rack for hanging clothes. Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided.

The living area is furnished with a comfortable lounge suite with a sleeper couch and a coffee table. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge / freezer, tea / coffee making facilities, crockery and a breakfast nook with seating fro guests to enjoy their meals.

Outside on the patio there are BBQ / braai facilities and outdoor dining furniture for guests to make use of.

Pets are welcome with prior arrangement. Pet owners are responsible for looking after and cleaning up after their pets.

• Our dogs, cats, horses and bees also live on the property but will not be in your fenced area - guests are requested not to enter this area without being escorted by one of the hosts
• The house has a camera system which will be off in the immediate vicinity of the house during your visit except for key security points
• Guests are advised not to interact with any wildlife as we are in a natural environment
• We are on solar power so you might experience a power outage if it rains a lot - we have a back-up generator for rainy days
