De Denne Country Guest House is situated on a working ostrich farm, offering tranquility, spectacular views and soul touching moments. Sunsets you will never find elsewhere and hospitality to make you feel at home.
Accommodation
Accommodation at De Denne Country Guesthouse consists of 20 thoughtfully appointed units, comfortably accommodating up to 42 guests. The selection includes a variety of options tailored to different needs, Deluxe Suites, Garden Suites, Family Suites (which also offer self-catering convenience), a spacious 2-Bedroom Family Suite, Standard Suites, and our exclusive Supreme Suites.
Each unit features either a queen- or king-size bed, a private bathroom equipped with a shower, a bath, or both, and a separate entrance. Guests can relax on a private veranda that opens out onto sweeping green lawns. Importantly, all accommodation is connected to inverter power, ensuring uninterrupted comfort regardless of loadshedding.

Breakfast & Dining
Our Chef's choice, Breakfast Buffet, is served daily from 07h30 to 09h30, offering a variety of personal choices from our kitchen. For any special dietary requirements please advise us in advance. Light lunches available on request. Our famous and always popular BBQ and light meal options can be enjoyed at our dining room. A local wine list is available complimenting the cuisine and making for an enticing dining experience. The bar serves a large variety of spirits, coolers, beers and cold drinks. Our vegetarian menu allows for interesting vegetarian cuisine to choose from, complementing each guest's personal preference.
On Site Facilities
The property offers a range of on-site facilities designed for relaxation and enjoyment. Guests can take a dip in one of two swimming pools, dine at the on-site restaurant, and enjoy the peace of mind that comes with secure parking. Leisure activities on the estate include bird watching, cycling, refreshing swims, and guided nature walks through the scenic surroundings.
Activities
Our many activities include bird watching, scenic walks, stargazing, environmental and farm tours where you can experience the ostrich chicks hatching. Activities also available in the area to enjoy is the Sunrise Meerkat Tour, Cango Caves, feeding the elephants and riding an ostrich at Highgate Showfarm.
De Denne is perfectly situated for a day visit to the surrounding towns of Prince Albert, Mossel Bay, Calitzdorp (The Port Capital), and Knysna. Perfect for romantic getaways or family fun time, with modern amenities with an olde-world charm.
