David's Cottage at RiverStill Guest Farm is nestled in a deep valley, just 6km outside of Groot Marico. Scoured by the Groot Marico River, here the accent is on tranquillity, solitude and reconnecting with nature.

Self Catering Accommodation

David's Cottage is one of five holiday cottages in Groot Marico scattered on the farm.

The cottage which consists of two bedrooms has a warm, cosy atmosphere. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the second bedroom is furnished with two single beds. The bedrooms share a bathroom which is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Guests will need to bring their own towels.

The cottage has an open plan lounge / dining area, complete with fireplace and a well equipped kitchen which includes a fridge, two-plate gas stove, microwave oven, kettle and toaster.

Please bring your own firewood or we can supply at an extra cost.

Activities and Attractions

The Marico River runs through the farm and is definitely the highlight for those who like swimming or canoeing! RiverStill co-hosts the annual HC Bosman Festival and there is a labyrinth to be walked, trails to be hiked, fishing in the river and amazing stargazing at night.

Other attractions include bird watching and picnicking. Guests are welcome to pick from the herb gardens that grow around the main house to spice up their salads and to sample the locally distilled mampoer.
