The Area

Dullstroom's quaint architecture and village feel makes for the perfect romantic getaway, or relaxing fishing holiday. Dullstroom has its Boer War memories. When it was razed to the ground, the women and children were removed to a British concentration camp. Many died fighting and others died in detention.

A stone memorial and garden of remembrance commemorate those terrible times and many of the visitors to Dullstroom come to pay respects to these individuals and to learn more about its history.
