A big and light room with modern features, a fridge, and coffee-making facilities. Wonderful views over the valley and parts of the town. Some small things needed maintenance. The breakfast was average. Good secure on-site parking. A very interesting and cosy pub with information displayed on the walls, depicting pictures and other paraphernalia of the Boer War. The staff were friendly and efficient. The gardens well kept and filled with bird song. An above average stay.

We felt incredibly spoiled when we spent a night at this delightful place. Our upstairs room was a delight, up in the treetops and incredibly comfortable, with everything on hand, TV, WiFi, Fridge, etc. The boer War Pub was a joy to visit and our host Paul de Villiers kept us entertained. Breakfast next morning was beautifully fresh and hot and overseen by Sue, who made sure we left well fed and happy. Altogether a great experience that we will certainly be repeating.
