Convenient halfway stop. Will stay there again

Very pleasant stay. Room was clean and tea and coffee was provided. Would stay here again.

It was a very pleasant stay in a clean, beautiful room. The breakfast was tasty and the atmosphere is friendly but relaxed. The host made us feel welcome. We will definitely make use of the guest house again.

I was very disappointed, I was given a key at a restaurant and told where to go, there was only a non English speaking domestic to meet me and she directed me to my room poorly leaving me distressed and frustrated. I never even met the owner Martin Buckley and left the next day disgusted as the shower tiles and basket were dirty which was unpleasant. there was no notices to aid you with what to do or where to go for food etc. I was going to book a return night but never saw anyone to book with, so I booked with another B&B/ Guest house that was 100% better and cleaner with a lovely welcoming host for the same price I paid for Buckleys. there was no over night fridge for cool food from a cool box. something I have found everywhere else I have been. only good thing I can say was...... the bed was comfortable. I will NEVER go there again.
