Broadwater indicated 2 weeks before our arrival that they were not affected by the Vaal River floods and all activities were open. We arrived to find that everything was flooded and all activities stopped. No call to apologise, refund option, or reschedule was offered and we had to pay the full price. Total nightmare.

This was our first time visiting and the stay was amazing. The room was very spacious and child friendly, the view from the room was really amazing. It was just unfortunate that we could not make use of all the activities as it was already fully booked(The Cruise) however the kids had a awesome time. The breakfast we really enjoyed very much as well as the other dishes. We just had an issue with some of the Dstv channels that had an E48-32 which is no signal and was waiting for assistance throughout our stay. we will definitely go back soon.

Friendly staff welcomed us at reception. They were very helpful and treated us with sincerity and respect. The rooms are beautiful and the view from our room was breathtaking. Our biggest surprise was the service in the restuarant. The food we ordered was delicious and the waiters took good care of us. I can recommend Broadwaters river estate enthusiastically to anyone who needs a luxurious breakaway or as an exquisite venue for any event.

The setting is lovely and the facilities are good, but our family did not sleep well due to noisy neighbours. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly.

Broadwater is a lovely place to stay for a getaway weekend or vacation. With lots to do like fishing, boating and swimming to name just a few. The restaurant on the premises serves excellent food. Thank you to all the friendly staff, we have enjoyed our stay very much.
