Das Anwesen ist erst seit zwei Monaten im Besitz des belgischen Inhaberpaares, die super nett und hilfsbereit waren. Als einzige Gäste genossen wir die Stille und Abgeschiedenheit, die Zeit am Pool und auf unserer kleinen Terrasse. Es gibt eine schöne Lounge, wenn es im Garten zu kalt ist. Das Anwesen ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen und braucht sicherlich die eine oder andere Renovierung, versprüht aber gerade deshalb einen nostalgischen Charme. Wer sich nicht daran stört, hat eine tolle Zeit hier. Alles ist sauber und man hat alles was man braucht.

Stayed in the vine honeymoon suite which has its own jacuzzi and amazing views over vineyards. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

The most wonderfully relaxing guesthouse in all of the Cape. The location is amazing. The rooms are soooooo comfortable. The food is excellent. Abbi and her team offer the best service I have ever expeienced. This was recommended to me. I have stayed there on my last two visits to the Cape. Now it is my opportunity recommend it..... simply a fabulous experience....... and their Dunstone wine is great!

We had the most wonderful and romantic stay ever in Bovlei Valley Retreat. We felt as comfortable and luxurious as one can imagine. The family is very hearty and still descrete. Our engagment anniversary was celebrated with a wonderful and romantic dinner at the fire place all by ourselves. Abby herself cooked for us. We were relly great to have had the chance to stay at Bovlei Valley Retreat because we felt really retreated! Thank you so much, we love to think back of this stay!

Situated in the most beautful valley, down a dirt road. The mountain views are breathtaking, the service so friendly, the rooms of a very high standard and lots of added extras - Lavender punch on arrival followed by tea and homemade scones, and wine tasting and nibbles in the evening - all of which was complimentary. We had dinner 3 courses for only R165 - it was excellent, fillet steak that melted in the mouth. We slept so well, no traffic noise just a faint call of a owl - I really recommend this place
