From Cape Town to Ashante Boutique Retreat:
1. Start in Cape Town and get on the N1 highway, following signs for Paarl / Bellville / R27 / Milnerton.
2. Take exit 10 for Century City Drive / N7 toward Goodwood / Malmesbury, then merge onto the N7 heading north.
3. Stay on the N7 for about 230km, passing through Malmesbury, Piketberg, and Citrusdal.
4. After Citrusdal, continue until you reach Clanwilliam and take exit 225 for the R364 toward Clanwilliam / Calvinia.
5. Turn right onto the R364, then drive through the town of Clanwilliam.
6. Continue east on the R364 for about 60km, going over the beautiful Pakhuis Pass.
7. Once you've descended the pass, drive for another 10km.
