About Karoo Manor Guesthouse
Len and Pat are the owners of this old world charm destination in the centre of Richmond in the Karoo. Richmond is a town situated next to the N1 approximately halfway between Cape Town and Gauteng.
Accommodation
We offer a choice of four different types rooms. All rooms have both DStv and aircon and all have en-suite bathrooms.
There are family rooms available as well as standard double rooms. We cater for single travellers at a lower rate.
Our premises are securely enclosed by walls / fence and we offer secure parking and a peaceful garden setting which makes you forget that you are in town.
Facilities
We offer outdoor dining and braai facilities in a an inner courtyard.
Pets
We are pet friendly, limited to two (2) small dogs or one (1) medium dog only. We do not do large dogs any longer.
Dogs must be kept on a leash and owners must clean up after them.
Dining
We offer dinner as well as breakfast and also have a very unique licensed restaurant on the premises called “Die Krip Restaurant". Here we serve traditional Karoo meals, homemade pizzas, steaks, Karoo lamb chops and our speciality is our burgers. Our bar will take you back in time.
Richmond
Richmond is South Africa's 'book town' and we are walking distance from all Richmond's bookshops and the country's only Saddle Horse Museum.
