I had a fantastic four-night stay at Airport Bird Game Lodge while attending OutdoorX. The airport transfer and in-house shuttle were super convenient, and Judy – friendly, reliable, and full of energy – made every ride enjoyable. Leyla handled my booking with care, and the rest of the team, from reception to the chefs, went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The rooms were comfortable, the lodge peaceful, and every meal was delicious – Chef Palesa, Chef Harry, and Chef Monica all deserve a shout-out. Truly a gem in Joburg!

Airport Bird & Game Lodge was a wonderful experience in MANY WAYS for our team. We flew in from various places while a few drove as they were close by. We were collected from the airport and the short distance to the venue was most welcome. The surrounding nature added to empowering the team as we felt more on holiday even though it was a time of “heavy duty” work. As a non-profit, we highly appreciated the value received for the costs incurred. I will highly recommend Airport Bird & Game Lodge.

We stayed overnight between flights and rented 3 rooms. We enjoyed it very much. The folks there were great, their travel to/from the airport made it very convenient, and our children loved seeing the animals they have there (especially hand feeding the ostrich). We would definately stay there agin.

I had stayed there before and now made it my second home whenever am in J'orberg ,their loyalty programme is great! Their pick and drop is just convenient! The staff are courteous enough Mr Muchina and Mr Orly will be at your service! Complimentary Mineral water bottle in the room would not be a bad idea?

Game Lodge is a second home.Been going,stop over for over a few years now,and just love the place and people like family.my kids just love it there and to feed Ozzy,the ostrich is indeed a treat.I will never go anywhere else when in JHB.Peacefull ,safe,and or second home.
