From Gauteng:
Start by heading southwest toward Exit 46, then use any lane to take the ramp to Jones Rd. Continue for 750 meters and take the ramp onto the R21. Travel on the R21 for about 550 meters before taking the N17 to R65 in Van Oudshoornstroom, Ermelo, which will take approximately 2 hours and 23 minutes (204 km). Next, continue on R65 to the N2/R33 for another 1 hour and 10 minutes (109 km). Follow the N2 for about 3 hours and 4 minutes (223 km) until you reach the exit for the R22. Follow the R22 and then the P2 for the final 10.3 km, and Bonamanzi Game Reserve will be on your left at 324 Bushlands Road, Hluhluwe. Please be aware that this route includes toll gates, so have cash or a valid toll card ready. We look forward to welcoming you!
From Durban:
Start by heading northeast on Boulevard Rd/King Shaka Dr and continue for 1 km, keeping right to stay on Boulevard Rd. Then, turn left onto Dube Blvd and continue for 2.6 km, passing through a toll gate. Next, merge onto the N Coast Toll Rd/N2 for approximately 700 meters, where you'll stay on the toll road for a longer stretch (56 minutes or 98.1 km). Follow the N2 for another 123 km, keeping straight. At this point, turn left, then right onto D566 Rd, followed by a left turn onto P2. After about 140 meters, turn right, and Bonamanzi Game Reserve will be on the left after 290 meters. Please be aware that this route includes multiple toll gates.
