Cottage at 753 The Ridge is a self catering cottage furnished with one bedroom, one bathroom and bunk beds in the lounge. The bedroom has a Queen-size bed as well as underfloor heating and the bathroom is furnished with a toilet, basin and a shower. Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. The semi equipped kitchenette is equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, toaster, tea / coffee making facilities, a Nespresso machine and a two plate stove. In the living area there is comfortable furniture that guests are able to relax on as well as a triple bunk bed for up to three children. There is also a fireplace for guests to stay warm on those cold winter nights. Outside there is an undercover patio with outdoor furniture and BBQ / braai facilities. The large garden allows for children to run around and jump on the trampoline.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
