Tolbos 5 is a lovely house in one of the best positions in Bekbai, Paternoster. Beautiful views, very well equipped and well presented. The braai and sitting area is fantastic, particularly when the wind blows. Having direct access to the beach and rocks is fantastic. A minor issue with the shutters was dealt with quickly by the company managing the house. However...... we were not informed of the building site 3 metres from the back of the house, with one of the bedrooms facing straight into it. Over the 3 days we had hours of jack hammering and concrete mixers. Even the sound of the sea and wind could not hide the noise. Whilst we did not let it spoil our stay, we should have been made aware of it before it was booked. The other minor annoyance was the constant hum from the Hikvision box. Whilst appreciating the need for the security, the box could be much better placed to avoid the noise.
