About Dave Brew
What do you get when you ask a comedian to create craft beer? Brews that taste funny. But, a good kind of funny. Different, interesting and irresistible. Dave (Levinsohn) Brew is the name behind the beers and his commitment is to creating and providing outstanding beers that can be enjoyed with friends on a hot day. They are simple, authentic, and give the drinker a feeling of laid-back happiness (which Dave Brew puts down to the endorphins stirred by all things funny and fabulous).
Johannesburg is South Africa’s commercial and retail hub. And, with craft breweries like Dave Brew under the Jo’burg umbrella, it has earned its name as the real City of Gold.
The brewery is located in Bedfordview (Johannesburg), which is only about 15 minutes away from the OR Tambo International Airport.
The Dave Brew range includes some seasonal flavours. Their availability depends on the weather and the hop crops because these beers are crafted from the best ingredients, not mass-produced.
