About Lwandile Bay Beach
Lwandile Bay Beach is part of the Eastern Cape’s Wild Coast and is approximately 300 miles long. This is a relatively unexplored beach and so is in pristine condition. In the winter months you’ll enjoy this as a surf spot thanks to the exposed river mouth creating a perfect break.
Otherwise Lwandile Bay is a good fishing and snorkeling spot, but if you like going for a swim you can do this to in the warm Indian Ocean. The location is lovely during whale season as you’ll be able to spot both dolphins and whales just off the coastline from about July to November so keep your eyes fixed out to the distance.
