In 2005 , after living and working in Johannesburg for 23 years, I moved down to Port Elizabeth, blissfully unaware of this gem of a neighborhood. A colleague at the newspaper made me aware of Richmond Hill. As I stepped through the front door of my 120 year old Victorian lady with her balcony view on the ocean, I bought her. 14 years later I still don't regret my choice of neighborhood. Its community living....you kuier in the streets, you kuier in the park, you kuier at community kuiers. And we all have one thing in common : we love our historic Richmond Hill houses!

We've been living in Richmond Hill for years and watching it grow from a friendly neighbourhood to a hotspot for the whole of PE. We love the new Stanley Street and all the surrounding attractions and invite any visitors to come and be a part of the great atmosphere!!

What a lovely intamete place. Even a tourist of Amsterdam will feel at place!! Nice bars and restaurants, beautifull old houses and friendly people. You might order a beer at the local pub (rouge) or they migt get rid of a small stay cat.

Richmond Hill is one of my favourite haunts when I visit PE on business. There are tons of restaurants in Stanely Street to take clients or have a dinner for two. Great vibe, all year round.

What an awesome spot! Richmond Hill is full of fab shops, restuarants, wine bars, pubs, coffee shops, etc. The buzz never stops and there's always something exciting happening here. My fave place to be in PE.
