Why you might choose to stay in the Northern Suburbs

There is a distinct difference between the northern suburbs and the southern suburbs of Cape Town, and, as with many a city divided by a river or other landmark, Cape Town has an imaginary line the locals call ‘the boerewors curtain'. Did you know? The northern suburbs are officially part of the City of Tygerberg, formed from the union of the municipalities of Bellville, Durbanville, Goodwood and Parow.
