Thinking of doing something different for your next getaway? Well, think no further as we have just the thing to add some spice to your life with our caravan villages. We basically took old Retro 1970’s Jurgens Caravans, restored them and pimped them with each their own personality.

self catering accommodation

Each caravan has its own natural theme, queen size beds (memory foam mattresses), air-conditioner and a fridge / freezer. A Bedouin marquee is attached on the outside which then houses your kitchen and living area. If you are more than two wanting to stay in a village, we can add up to two more canvas tents underneath the Bedouin in order to sleep 6 in total. Included in the Wolfkop Caravan Village is your own canoe as well as sun loungers to make the most of your getaway.

To add the touch of camping experience, the ablution facilities are communal. If you feel like going on a scenic drive while visiting the campsite we do provide a description of four scenic routes you can take with a choice between sea and mountain or just mountains. These routes range from West Coast world class surfing spots, open air restaurants and mountain villages in the World Heritage Site of the Cederberg Wilderness area with its mind boggling rock formations and paintings. There is also a lovely route going into the lovely Kouebokkeveld towards Ceres.

hiking:
You can either decide to hike at Wolfkop Caravan Villages, or let us give you other options to hike on different farms in the Citrusdal Valley.

canoeing:
We have canoes at Wolfkop Caravan Villages and on different farm dams and rivers that can be hired around the Citrusdal Valley. Please book well in advance while making your accommodation booking as we have a limited supply at Wolfkop Caravan Villages.

fishing:
At Wolfkop Caravan Villages you have a choice of Bass and Yellowtail which are present in the river or there are numerous other Citrusdal farm dams with Bass in for your fresh water fishing and fly fishing needs. Please enquire with us when making your booking at any Citrusdal accommodation for a map of dams you can fish in.

mountain biking:
Please bring your own mountain bike for riding around Wolfkop Caravan Villages on the gravel roads or main road coming from Citrusdal, or hire one from us. There is also a choice of over 50km mountain biking trails on the farms in Citrusdal that are situated on the Cederberg Mountains. Please book with us as we also need to give you a map.

dining in citrusdal:
Die Sitrus Steakhouse - this is a 3-star resort which also has a restaurant for that romantic dinner on the deck. It offers delicious meals at a great value for money. This restaurant is located about 1km out of town towards the Middelberg Pass.

Bydidam Steakhouse - this is a 3-star resort which also has a restaurant for that romantic dinner on the deck. This restaurant is located about 1km out of town towards the Middelberg Pass.

Via the Grapevine - this is the coffee shop to go to for a hot or cold beverage and something tasty to eat. This lovely coffee shop is located in Citrusdal on Voortrekker Road.
