Witwater Safari Lodge & Spa is an established reserve within South Africa’s spectacular Waterberg. The reserve is situated approximately 295km North of Johannesburg in the Limpopo Province. Intimately settled on the banks of the evergreen Phalala River in the Malaria free Waterberg, Witwater Safari Lodge and Spa facilitates relaxation in the breathtaking surroundings.

Accommodation

We offer different accommodation to suite everyone’s need from luxurious double lodge rooms, en-suite with baths, hand-held shower heads and balconies. All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with a television or Luxury Double Tents with steam showers. Each with its own private timber deck and linked to the Main Lodge and all facilities by wooden walkways or for the honeymoon couple suites newly renovated with spa bath, shower and private deck.

For the South African family we also have River Chalets with two bedrooms both en-suite offering the choice of either a bath or shower. Each unit has its own kitchenette, lounge area boasting DSTV, outside splash pool, barbeque area and lapa. Settle into your own luxury tented suite, while refined Rhodesian teak decks de-stressed the soles of your feet even further before you settle in your own special snug resting place, while the Phalala River plays its calming magic flute through the African night.

Dining

At Witwater you have the best of both worlds when it comes to dining options. You can either have fine dining in our award winning restaurant or a true African Bush Boma Dinner under the stars!

Spa

Our facilities include a fully equipped spa and our fully qualified spa therapist will be more than willing to discuss a personalized treatment program moulded to your individual needs. Other facilities include; a heated pool, Sauna / Steam Room and swimming pool.

Conferences

Witwater Safari Lodge and Spa is your ideal conference venue. The Indaba Conference Room can accommodate a maximum of 50 delegates and is equipped with Multi-media projector, surround sound, white board, overhead projector, flip chart, DVD / video and Internet hotspot access.

We also have an executive Boardroom that can host a maximum of 10 delegates also equipped with Multi-media projector, surround sound, white board, overhead projector, flip chart and DVD / video as well as Internet Hotspot access.

Weddings

Looking for the perfect wedding venue? The wedding team at Witwater Safari Lodge will make your wedding unforgettable. You need all the help you can get and when you have the perfect wedding and a team that is dedicated to making your dream wedding come true you have the perfect recipe. Personal wedding coordination will assist with arranging the wedding from start to finish. Expertise to organise the minister, flowers, music and photographer.

Activities and Attractions

Wake up to the surrounds of the majestic Waterberg Mountains, before going out to explore the bush and meet with the abundance of game and birdlife. Thick skinned rhino squint at every movement, while buffalo stare you down. Graceful giraffe frame the trees and nearby impala play around while keeping a sharp eye out for Cheetah.

For the young hearted try archery, clay pigeon shooting, fishing, game drives, guided bush walks, bushman paintings and bird watching. We also have a golf course close by for the discerning golfer. We can also arrange White Lion touching excursions and Elephant Back Safari’s to our neighboring property.
