Villa Ora invites you to experience her elegant style, excellent facilities, superior comfort, but most of all to enjoy the warm hospitality of her people. Thea, Ora and Frans take pride in personally attending to all their guest’s needs . It is their great pleasure to make their guests feel at home and to ensure that their stay is enjoyable. They will provide information on the history of the area, attractions, restaurants, and will supply you with up to date maps and brochures. Villa Ora is a serene 80 year old colonial style home, featuring a sunny wrap around verandah. The elegant entrance hall leads to cool spacious rooms with high ceilings and beautiful wooden floors. During upgrading and renovation (in 2002) great care was taken to preserve the character of the house. Villa Ora is situated in an upmarket, safe area, just off the centre of Oudtshoorn Town, and a few metres away from Route 328 which leads to the famous Cango Caves. Villa Ora is ideally situated for guests who wish to to park on site and then be able to walk to restaurants and shops, museums, art galleries, etc. We are only a short , leisurely walk away from all the very best spots. AccommodationVilla Ora has 4 superior bedrooms, luxuriously furnished with the finest furniture, oriental carpets, percale linen, lambswool duvets and Angora blankets. Each bedroom also has an airconditioner, an oil heater, a remote controlled TV and an electric hairdryer. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower or bath or a combination of shower and bath. Bathrooms are fitted with electric shaver points and towel heaters. Basic toiletries are provided. Facilities• The lounge is spacious and tastefully appointed and has a cosy fireplace. • The breakfast porch which overlooks the pool area serves as dining area for evening meals. • The front verandah is sunny and allows one to leisurely sit and watch the townsfolk go by. • Villa Ora is surprisingly tranquil, especially the pool area where a king sized pool is surrounded by lovely greenery and where there is ample paved space to enjoy the warm South African sunshine. • A refrigerator with beers, wine and soda is located on the breakfast porch. Guests are invited to serve themselves at the “honesty bar “. • Excercise machines are available on the back verandah. Regular bicycles are also available to guests who want to explore the town at a leisurely pace. • Internet, E-mail, Phone and Fax facilities are available. • There is a safe for storing valuables. • Villa Ora is is wheelchair friendly. All facilities are accessible to persons in wheelchairs. Services• A very generous 3 course breakfast is included in the rates. • A three course dinner (a la carte) with a cordon bleu touch is available by arrangement. • Light lunches and picnic baskets are provided on request. • Tea and drinks trays will be provided on request. • We cater for vegetarians and will make arrangements for special dietary needs . • We will gladly make restaurant bookings for our guests. • A laundry and mending service is available. • Transfers / transport will be arranged on request.
