Villa Avianto is situated 4km from the N1, west from Bloemfontein and 2km from the N8, on the Petrusburg Road in the Free State.

Christo and Suretha Van Heerden welcome you to their own slice of Provence in the heart of the Free State. Situated on a 5 hectare estate on a hillside, Villa Avianto offers a unique Tuscan ambiance with formal gardens and fountains blending seamlessly with the surrounding environment. Here you can escape from the everyday hustle in relaxed comfort and take long walks in a safe environment.

Accommodation

Two luxurious self-catering suites will enthrall the traveller on arrival. Each unit boasts an en-suite bathroom. Both units are equipped with a Continental breakfast comprised of coffee, tea, juice, yoghurt, fresh fruit, bread, cereals and rusks. Our units have selected DSTV-channels and air-conditioners.

The Lavender Suite
This suite forms part of the main villa. It opens onto a peaceful private, veranda near the swimming pool offering a breathtaking vista of the surrounding terrain and valley. Enjoy a breathtaking African sunset on the deck overlooking the swimming pool terrace and become one with nature.

The Rosemary Suite
Separate from the main villa nestling high against the hillside. Be enchanted by the unequaled view of the surroundings and landscape from the veranda. All bird lovers will be enthralled with the variety of warbling. Light a fire in the private “braai” facilities and experience the wonder of a perfect sunset.

Both units are non-smoking but guests may smoke in the garden areas.

Weddings and Conferences

Villa Avianto offers the romantic Senanque-chapel for weddings, get-away conference facilities, meetings and special functions like birthdays and anniversaries. The Senanque-chapel can accommodate 100 people cinema-style, 60 people seated for banqueting.

Le Petite Paradiso

Our own touch-farm. Wander around on our extensive estate, admire the graceful swans on the pond, play a game of tennis or just relax while the children play on our playground with swings, a seesaw, merry-go-round and much more. Enchant them with the joy of contact with real farm animals such as donkeys, a pony, potbelly pigs, chickens, rabbits, ducks and geese. At sunset the children can help feed the animals.

The estate is completely surrounded by an electrified fence and entry is only possible via the main entrance. Secure parking is also available near your suite. Being situated outside the city in a low crime area, means that you can have real peace of mind and have a pleasant, serene stay with us!

Villa Avianto is the ideal place to spend family-time. Parents can play, walk and swim with their children during the school semester as well as in the holidays. Our place is also very well situated for sleep-over next to the N1 and N8.
