My husband Brian and I were over to visit relatives and a visit to Tshukudu bush camp was arranged during our stay in South Africa. We were part of a group of approximately 20 people and we took over the accommodation at the bush camp..... what an experience. Cannot fault anything about the camp, the guide - Jakes - and the helpers. The drives were an adventure every day and we were so close to the animals. Sundowers near one of the waterholes with lions roaring in the background - magical!!! |

I stay at Tshukudu bush camp for 2 nights with my husband on his birthday. We arrived before check in time but we were welcomed by Jackes. In the afternoon we went to a game drive and Jackes is the excellent guide, we met the elephant and her baby. The next morning we went to a bush walk which was intersting and we learned a lot about different plant and their use. Walking with the lions was exciting. We even visited the cheetah but it had little babies at that time. I really enjoyed my stay at tshukudu. The cleaning staff is also excellent they help us if we need help when preparing our food. The rooms are cool though we have to wait a few minutes for the hot water to come out of the tab and that is not a big deal, each chalets accommodates up to 4 people a double bed and 2 single bed. I felt bad to find out that the owner and her son died of accident some time ago. They were so excellent, i remember when we were there at tshukudu his son come along with his friends for a weekend they were very nice and apologise for making noise the previous evening but we did not hear any thing. Thsukudu is a game reserve where animals walk around. But there is a place full on lions within the reserve, we even saw the white lion and Matumba (the lion). I will never forget this place i will return again for more. Thanks to Jackes and Sussen's family. From Irene Mazibuko (Springs)GAUTENG. |

We had a really enjoyable stay at the Bush Camp in December , the facilities in the camp are good. The staff are pleasant and everything is kept nice and clean. We had an excellent Ranger - Jakes who was friendly , informative and prepared to go the extra mile. I would definitely recommend the camp to friends , family and anyone who loves wildlife. |
