Usually being away from home, staying in a guest house or hotel you always get that "You not home feeling" but Staying at The Neuk was different, it felt like home immediately we arrived there. The decor of the suites is so tranquil, well designed. I loved the whole dutch inspired feel very classical and elegant. It changed my perception on using antique to create a warm beautiful space. The best place i have ever stayed in, the hospitality is amazing. Haley is an exceptional person and a great host. The location is so convinient you can easily walk around the corner for coffee, drinks, night out or dinner. I will definitely be staying there again and would recommend it to anyone looking a an amazing guest house to stay at in Durban. The Neuk just gives one a 5 star hotel experience and a home. |

Exciting and great place to live away from the city! Stayed here just for two nights, during the ICE2008 conference. Wonderful host by Haley and her mum, Julia. It is a really nice cosy place, with good English tradition mixed with warm South African hospitality. A recommended place to be if you want a warm cosy home, away from home.

As being a (Dutch) national sales manager for a SA company I travel a lot throughout SA. Since being at The Neuk in February '08 for the first time, this is now my favorite and preferred accomodation in Durban. Situated in Morningside, close to restaurants and the highway to Uhmlanga and La Lucia. Internationally (European) orientated and very nicely designed interior. My highest recommendation. |
