The Avenue Hotel was established in 1936. The Hotel is situated on the False Bay coastline in the small town of Fish Hoek, just 30 minutes drive from Cape Town city centre, en-route to Simon's Town. The facilities of the Hotel offer a tastefully decorated lounge, a sun room/library, and an intimate bar that leads off onto a large courtyard and pool area. The Hotel has won two awards from one of the largest Tour Operators in the United Kingdom. The first being "Highly Commended" and the other being "Good Food". The Hotel is situated in a quiet one-way street, just 300 meters from Fish Hoek Beach, close to Fish Hoek’s shopping district. AccommodationThe Hotel has 42 en-suite rooms in the Three Star section, which are elegantly decorated furnished with telephone and television and cater for the long-term stays, as well as families, and a further 9 en-suite rooms in the Four Star section called the Constantia House. ConferencesThe Hotel offers ADSL Wi-fi connectivity in the public areas, as well as an internet terminal for our guests’ use at Reception. The Cape Cottage Conference Centre leads off from an intimate enclosed courtyard and pool area. The rooms are equipped with all the standard conference facilities. Our conference facilities are suitable for 8 to 50 delegates in various seating configurations. WeddingsThe Cape Cottage is an ideal setting for that small wedding reception, product launch, or function. The Cape Cottage leads off from a quaint enclosed courtyard covered in vines which provide a wonderful setting of tranquility. One of its other unique features is that of a fireplace which is ideal for winter functions. Meals can be served in either the cottage or weather permitting in the courtyard, or even around the pool.
