The self catering apartment is a unit in the Sunrise Villas complex and offers guests privacy, security and comfort. The 85sqm loft apartment is generously proportioned and offers two bedrooms; one is on the loft mezzanine level and has a double bed and a single bed and the other is downstairs with two single beds making the unit very appealing to the small family or business executive. There is a single bathroom downstairs.

Decor throughout the apartment is modern contemporary creating a comfortable space in which to relax - whether you are working or on holiday. A large, bright double-volume lounge is open-plan to a fully fitted kitchen with a dining area off to one side.

For our guests’ convenience, there is a pay-as-you-go laundry at the complex. There is a clubhouse with a swimming pool and braai (barbeque) facilities.

Holiday makers love the close proximity to the sea and if you happen to be a surfer, you are in for a real treat. Muizenberg is a haven for surfers with lots of surf shops in the village 500m away. There is secure covered parking for our guest’s car right beside the apartment.

Attractions and activities

Sunrise Villas is conveniently situated and close to everything. It is therefore ideally placed for exploring the numerous attractions that Cape Town has to offer. Cape Town city centre is 20 minutes away, Table Mountain with its famous cableway, Cape Town International airport, major shopping malls, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, the University of Cape Town and the fabulous V&A Waterfront are all within 15-25 minutes drive.

The railway station is located in Muizenberg a few hundred meters away providing visitors with a convenient transport link to the city and further down the peninsula towards Simons Town. Great restaurants are to be found in Muizenberg and a little further south in Kalk Bay. The famous Cape Winelands are a short 30 minute drive away.

One of the main attractions is the sea which is literally over the road from the complex. The award winning ‘Blue Flag’ Sunrise beach at Muizenberg is on the Indian Ocean coast so the waters are warm!

There are numerous walks and hiking trails in the mountains above Muizenberg, the historic Rhodes Cottage and St James beach are 1km away. At Kalk Bay, you will delight at the numerous antique and art shops interspersed with quaint restaurants and coffee shops.

With Muizenberg situated at the end of the M5, access to other major highways is simple with links from there to the N1, N2 and M3.
