We were very impressed with Mortonson Manor -- Luke & Carrie are fantastic hosts and they far exceeded our expectations. This was our first visit to South Africa, but we felt like long lost family members at the Manor. We were there for a wedding, and it was a superb venue -- the staff did a marvelous job on the setting and ensured every detail was in order. You won't find better lodging or hosts than Mortonson Manor. We are already dreaming about a return visit! |

I just cannot say enough good things about my experience at Mortonson Manor!
We enjoyed three weeks at the B&B (Oct into Nov) and Carrie, Luke, the staff and even the dogs made us feel completely at home and at ease. The site is beautifully kept with close access to much of the best of Durban and the surrounding area and the Mortonsons went out of their way to help with suggestions, bookings, etc. to ensure that we and our group enjoyed our visit.
For anyone who’s seeks a spectacular venue for a small wedding in Durban, the Manor is the place! With lovely grounds, wonderful vistas, ample space fork parking and guests, this was the perfect fit of our wedding. Here too, everyone at the Manor as most gracious and flexible and helped make our special day memorable.
We can hardly wait for our next visit to Durban and will definitely look to stay at Mortonson Manor again. – Mark & Jacob

We had a renewal of our wedding vows at the Mortonson's place, what a memorable day it was. The setting was spectacular, the staff were great and our hosts paid attention to every detail from making our guests comfortable to decorating our honeymoon suite withe petals and candles. We did not have to worry about anything for the day except to enjoy our special day. All of our guests made very positive comments about our choice of venue. A job well done to the Mortonsons and a big thank you for making our day so special.

I found this B&B tucked away in Kloof. It is very close to routes linking Durban and PMB, which is great because I have friends between the two. The rooms are very confortable, the surroundings are amazing. Next time i will stay here for my whole holiday when in Durban. Very very peaceful! |
