Having recently stayed at “Stilty Bird” as part of our family holiday from the UK, it would be wrong not to let you know how delighted we were. The house is nothing short of magnificent, we were expecting magnificent views across the Knysna Heads but the reality far exceeded our wildest expectations and we spent many happy hours on the lookout gazing entranced across the ever-changing ocean and marvelling at the sea-birds wheeling below us.
Location and views aside, the house itself is simply stunning, everything is of the highest quality executed in beautiful and understated good taste. We particularly enjoyed sitting out and barbequing on the terraces and enjoying the sunsets from the pool. For us, our stay was undoubtedly the high point of our holiday in beautiful South Africa.
We can’t wait to come back. In the interim, I would unhesitatingly recommend “Stilty Bird” to anyone looking for an outstanding house in a breathtaking location.
