We can give the public a total different impression of our lovely stay at Rametsi Lodge.My wife and I stayed over for the weekend at the lodge found the place in a wonderful condition since the new owner Willie van Wijk took over.He was extremely helpfull although we arrived at lodge on the friday night at 23:45 to recieve us in person at the gate with his flash light.The camping grounds are very well maintained, clean and neat.There was propper lighting and the ablution blocks were immaculate.The game drive was amazing, we did the 4x4 route, and the dam, although a distance from the lodge, has been well maintained.The bird life is absolutely amazing and a must see for every bird lover. Willie has a vast knowledge on the bird and animal life in the area and advised us accordingly. Rametsi is now under new management and we would like to thank Willie and his staff for a most memorable stay. Rametsi will definitely be seeing us again. Thanks Willie. |

Wow, were we suprised. At first glance you would say that the lodge is nothing special untill you meet the people and explore the surroundings. What a wonderfull farm, full of birdlife and enough game to see. The 4x4 routes are exciting and eventfull.
We enjoyed the stay so much we will surely book a whole weekend with the family to try out the Boma!!
