The Sunrise Room
The Sunrise Room is located at the front of the house, under thatch, it has 2 bathrooms and underfloor heating.

The Garden Room
The Garden Room overlooks the herb garden, is also under thatch with a private terrace and a shower en-suite. Also benefitting from a log fire.

The Lavendar Room
The Lavendar Room is situated at the front of the house, a snug and cosy room with large dressing room and en-suite shower.

The family cottage sleeps 6 people in 1 double and 2 twin room. 1 full bathroom and additional wc, large open plan sitting, dining and kitchen area. Boasting fantastic views located above the main house, the large deck is the perfect place for catching the sun, relaxing or for a braai.

Bottle Brush Cottage (Sleeps 2-3)
Bottle Brush Cottage is a beautiful thatched cottage sleeping 2-3 people, with a large private deck for soaking up the African sun. This is an ideal retreat for mum, dad and small child.

Breakfast & Dining

Indulge yourself with wholesome farmhouse cuisine prepared with produce from the dairy farm and gardens, Packwood dairy is home to the largest Jersey herd in the area, an abundance of milk, cream, yoghurts, ice cream and Packwood’s mature cheddar. Sumptuous breakfasts, lunches and dinner. 2009 will see the first harvest of Sauvignon Blanc from Packwood’s very own vineyard planted in 2006, with later harvesting of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

With nature all around us, from Fish Eagles, Bush Buck, Monkeys and an abundance of bird life, plenty of activities on the estate from fishing in the dams for black bass and tilapia, clay shooting, horse riding (exp riders only) bird watching with over 80 recognised species, hiking and cycling around the estate and through the Knysna indigenous forest, stroll through the vineyard and farm, picnic under the trees After a busy day treat yourself to a deep tissue massage by our local masseuse (prior bookings ess) or cool down in the salt water swimming pool with a sundowner.

Golfing holidays along the Garden Route are very popular with so many wonderful courses on offer, designed by golfing gurus Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Ernie Els, with over 6 courses locally you will be spoilt for choice.

Plettenberg Bay offers some of the most pristine coastline in South Africa, many beaches are surrounded by nature reserves which guarantees you clean beaches and unspoilt beauty, famous for body and board surfing and clear water lagoons for safe swimming.

There are many activities for all the family close by to keep everyone happy and entertained for weeks, the Garden Route is a beautiful and safe area offering a diverse holiday experience to fully appreciate what there is you need time, rest a while and enjoy your stay.
