Oslo Beach Lodge offers secure self catering accommodation 150 metres from the beach, in seven luxury rooms in the main house (3 Star graded) and two 5-sleeper log cabins (4 Star graded). We are situated between Port Shepstone and Shelly Beach (+/- 6 kms to Shelly Shopping Centre). ACCOMMODATIONTHE MAIN HOUSE (3 Star graded) The original main house was a large colonial family home which we have converted into seven comfortable rooms, each with its own entrance, patio or covered verandah, built-in braai, kitchenette and en suite bathroom. Each room is different. Six of the seven rooms offer fantastic sea views and sounds. The seventh room overlooks the swimming pool and entertainment area. The sizes of the rooms/suites vary. Three rooms can accommodate 2 people, one of these being a romantic Honeymoon Room with a honeymoon style bath and a shower. Two of the rooms can accommodate three people. The remaining two Family Suites, which each have two rooms, sleep four people each. The rooms and suites are serviced on a daily basis, except Sundays and Public Holidays where there is an extra charge if servicing is required, by our friendly, trained room attendants. TIMBER HOMES (4 Star graded) In addition to the main house, we have built two timber homes, 2 x 2 bedrooms (semi-detached) which can accommodate 6 people each, or 12 if the two are booked together. There is a larger 4 bedroom timber home for larger parties of 12. The timber homes are situated in an elevated position in the 6500 square metre gardens and offer breath-taking breaker views of the Indian Ocean. Daily servicing of the timber homes can be provided at an additional charge. All the rooms and timber homes are all fitted with fridge/freezer combination, microwave, stove/oven, colour TV, comfortable dual comfort beds, overhead fans. For your personal safety we have 24 hour per day security guards on duty to ensure you, your family and your vehicle are safe at all times whilst you are on the property. RESTAURANT & PUBOur intimate pub Flintstones has a beautiful sundeck overlooking the ocean - perfect for whale and dolphin spotting! You can also enjoy your sundowners and pub grub in the verandah room or relaxing around the tranquil swimming pool. Our restaurant Mr Larney's, which also has magnificent sea views, specializes in sea food and steaks! CONFENCE CENTREOur 60 seater Conference / Function Centre is now available for your company functions, private parties, weddings etc, etc. Come and enjoy our beautiful setting overlooking the Indian Ocean at extremely competitive rates! Our aim is to make you happy, comfortable, and want to come back! We can accommodate 50 people in the Lodge and our timber homes. We can offer full board, breakfast, lunch and dinner if required or self catering - your choice! RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIESThere are a host of recreational activities in vicinity including Golf (7 courses within 35kms), horse riding, Old MacDonald's Farm, beautiful beaches, 6 cinemas, Shelly Beach Shopping Centre, scuba diving, deep sea fishing/pleasure trips, Banana Express Railway trips, surfing, whale and dolphin watching, micro light trips, hiking trails, Wild Coast Sun Casino, bird park, Crocodile Farm - the list is endless!
