What an excellent guesthouse! We have been back for three times in just a two month period! I travel a lot and love going to guesthouses over weekends, and this is one guesthouse I will always go back to....without any hesitation! The view is breathtaking.......the entire long verandah looks out onto the sea below, and during our last visit we saw whales in the bay! The guesthouse is so well equipped, everything is there that one needs. The accommodation is upmarket and very clean. The bathroom is ENORMOUS........the rooms very well equipped and the linen and beds of superb quality. There is yet to be another guesthouse that I will rate the same! This one left such an impression on me! My mom and I went together, the first time we booked, and since then my mom has been back twice! We had total privacy....the most beautiful view.....the beach was just a few steps away (just go down a few steps and cross the road), and the accommodation clean, upmarket, relaxing and beautiful! I will definately be back! No words can rate this guesthouse enough.....you have to go there to experience it! |

Beautiful views from every room. Sitting at the table on the veranda in the morning having breakfast was a delight, with the stunning views ans peacefull setting. It was pretty and clean, well equiped and comfortable with a fabulose bath room. BEdrooms are just like tha pictures. The area is safe and my children had a ball in the garden and on the beach which is only a 5 min stroll away. Really nice restuarant nearby Cant wait to go back! |

We stayed at Ocean View to attend a wedding in Yzerfontein. It was brilliant. We took both units, which gave my wife and I privacy from the rest of the family. Sabrina was very pleasant and helpful from our initial enquiries, right through to the end of our stay. The standard of accommodation is very good, as is the attention to detail: there's full access to DSTV, books and magazines in the unit, bathrooms aplenty and a well equipped kitchen. The veranda is huge and protected, and makes a good place to watch the scenery when the beach is too windy. The views, and the proximity to the beach rounded off the experience perfectly. If we're ever back in the area, we'll stay there again for sure. |
