My wife, 7yr old twins and I all stayed at Mooi Bly for 4 days during a South Africa trip we made over from the UK in April this year.
Liesbeth and her family are very friendly and made us feel extremely welcome from the moment we arrived. Mooi Bly is set is a beautiful location, and all the accomodation flats are clean and well fitted out.
We particularly enjoyed:
- Watching the sun go down whilst having a braai
- Trying some of Eric's excellent wine
- Splashing in the pool
- Helping feed the horses (our kids loved this)
- Playing with the many dogs, who will come and let you know when its time for breakfast!
We all had a fantastic time and would thoroughly recommend it is a place to stay, particularly if you're travelling with children. |

We stayed at this family run wine farm between Paarl and Wellington for one wonderful week. It is peaceful there, a beautiful place with nice gardens and two swimming pools, fabulous bird life and a vineyard where they make great wines.
They do great wine tours and are wonderfully relaxed and family friendly people, and we had a fabulous week there. The cottage we had was fully equipped and we enjoyed our own BBQ (braai) outside our cottage. This is a great base for exploring the wine region and relax away from all hassle. We hope to be back! |
