Millstream is centrally situated in the historic town of Stellenbosch, which itself is nestled in a tranquil mountain setting in the heart of the Cape Winelands. We are located just around the corner from the town information centre and within easy walking distance of the historic town attractions, numerous restaurants, curio shops and craft markets, Van der Stel sports grounds and the university campus. Millstream is in a tree lined street alongside one of the original irrigation furrows. The house maintains an air of peace and tranquility, surrounded by large trees, a shady patio and a refreshing swimming pool. Millstream is easily accessible whatever your mode of transport and we provide easy access for the numerous wine tours in the region. Between tours and tastings you can relax in our tranquil garden setting or cool down in the pool while you plan your evening or next day’s activities. Your hosts Dot and Danie van der Walt are always available and willing to recommend and assist with planning your activities. We are easily accessible, being close enough to the city of Cape Town (50km) and the airport (35km), to explore the peninsula’s many attractions, the numerous wine farms, spectacular mountain drives, and beaches.
