Lothian House is a luxury eight-bedroom house. Each luxurious bedroom is individually styled with its own en-suite bathroom with balconies and view of the river, vineyard and mountains. There are 7 private terraces with uninterrupted views, the summer lounge opens onto the pool deck and the winter lounge opens onto a private deck. The main dining table seats 16 while the breakfast table seats 8 and the patio table seats 10. The kitchen is fully equipped and the house comes with a chef, concierge and full time staff. There is DStv and Apple TV as well as WiFi and universal plug points. The rate includes the House Manager and two House Keeping Staff. Features of the property include the following: Swimming pool with bar area, riverside lounge and fire-pit, Jacuzzi, jet skis, ski boat, water skis and Wakeboard, paddleboards, tennis court and racquets, badminton, croquet, trampoline, bass fishing, children’s jungle gym, Pizza Oven, barbecue / braai area, helipad and horse-riding.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
