Libertas Guest House offers exclusive, upmarket accommodation in a quiet and secure environment. Although very centrally situated in the heart of Mafikeng, the setting is very private and tranquil.
Our 4 star guest house has 6 rooms which are all en-suite with own private entrances and secure parking close to the rooms. We recommend our 3 tasteful executive suites, all overlooking the beautiful garden or alternatively one of our 3 standard rooms. Office facilities like a printer, copier, fax machine and a wireless Internet connection are available. All our rooms are fitted with a fridge, TV with satelite, a heater and fan or air-conditioning.
Executive Suites
Two of our executive suites are in a secluded area overlooking the pool. They both comprise of a bedroom, bathroom, living area, and a kitchenette fitted with cutlery, crockery, a microwave oven, fridge and kettle. These guests can enjoy the warm summer evenings by sitting outside on their private stoep, watching the stars.
Honeymoon Suite
Our honeymoon suite has a classic ambiance with solid rosewood furniture and quality linen to compliment it. The bathroom boasts an extra large bathtub and a shower. The bedroom is nestled under a huge tree and one can view the active bird life from your doorstep.
Standard Rooms
Our standard rooms are ideal for business travelers as we provide desks and appropriate lighting for work.
It is our priority to ensure that our guests can start their day well rested and refreshed. Therefore we have chosen high quality beds, and in some of our rooms extra long beds, to provide a comfortable rest for taller guests. Care is also taken that guests may enjoy a quiet and peaceful sleep.
For those who wish to keep their fitness programs uninterrupted, the use of our private gym might be a welcome solution although the sparkling pool seems to be more popular on warm summer days.
Guests can enjoy a full sumptuous breakfast in our spacious dining room overlooking the pool and may browse through a book from our library.
Libertas Guest House is in close proximity to all the main business and tourist destinations in and around Mafikeng and Mmabatho. The Victoria Private Hospital, International School of SA, the museum and some government buildings are less than 2 km away. The golf course, the casino resort and the Game Reserve are no more than 4 km from us, and the university, the court, Garona and the convention center are 5 km away. We are 19 km from the Mafikeng Airport and 318 km from Oliver Tambo International Airport near Johannesburg.
