We stayed at Le Bonheur from July 8 – 12, 2012 in the Lemon Cottage during a cold, rainy spell of winter in Cape Town. We were part of a family wedding group who occupied many of the rooms in the main guest Villa. We found the Lemon cottage very spacious, comfortable, clean and well-equipped. If you are looking for very good accommodation in Constantia that is safe, well-maintained and with all the amenities which are as advertised and described. We would highly recommend staying in any of the rooms in the Villa or the cottages. It is in a quiet, scenic, convenient location of Constantia, close to shops and restaurants. The host and owner of the property, Mr. Athol Childs, is very considerate of his guests and made our stay at Le Bonheur a very pleasant and memorable one.

Hi Athol,
Teri and I just want to thank you for the most comfortable stay we could ever have wished for! Lime cottage was fabulous, very well furnished and expertly equipped with everything we could have needed.

Our extended stay of 7 weeks here was simply wonderful, (warm, comfortable and safe)and when we return to Cape Town we know where we will be coming too.
Best regards.
Herman and Teri Roup.

Our family stayed at Le Bonheur in the Lemon Cottage for about a week. Our family consists of two adults and two children aged 10 and 11. We had a wonderful time. Mr. Athol Childs manages the property and went out of his way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Our children especially enjoyed Jacko the African Grey parrot who greets your arrival and departure each day as well as the two friendly dogs in the courtyard.
The view from the roof of the back of Table Mountain is wonderful.
The property is located in a part of Cape Town that is higher end and provides a sense of security.
You will find easy access to grocery stores as well as to roads that will take you to most any part of the Western Cape that you wish to visit.
I would recommend booking early as the available units fill up during the summer season. If you are booking later you should also inquire as to any limitations on use of the pool or other facilities.
As we hope to return to Cape Town in the future, we will definitely check into Le Bonheur's availability at that time.
