Staying at Lavenders Blue is so peaceful....... I thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside on the veranda sipping wine and eating some delicious local cheese as the sun set...... On a cold night we lit a fire in one of the 2 fireplaces... We filled our days with endless things - A stroll down to the river- wine tasting - strolling along the beautiful nearby beaches - antique shopping along Main Road, and enjoying the world class restaurants in the village...... all in a small village not more than one and a half hours from Cape Town.
The kitchen is fitted with everything you have at home, and all first class quality - no plastic anwhere!! Everything matches...... Crawling into bed between the luxurious linen was like a bit of heaven.
The owners are obviously very proud of their cottage, and I was honored to be able to enjoy their high class comforts......

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was a very nice kitchen, fireplace, braai, and sitting area. Our daughter had a lovely time in the garden watching the birds. We hope to come back soon. |
