We spent two very pleasant nights in the guesthouse, where the staff faced and overcame the hazards firstly of Eskom load-shedding and secondly an electricity breakdown, which had already left them without power for 5 days at the time of our second night. Nonetheless the staff were efficient and helpful, while the accommodation was comfortable.

I stayed over for one night because I had business in the area. Being in the tourism industry myself I was impressed with the overall look of the guesthouse, there is ample parking space, beautiful wood floors and comfortable beds. Rooms were also very clean, neat and spacious. I was received with a smile and sent home smiling. The hospitality was truly excellent. The breakfast really was out of this world and I thoroughly every morsel on the plate. I now consider myself a friend to the hosts and will always stop here even if it is just to say hello.

We stayed in the self catering unit, and it was very pleasant. Seperate from the house with its own little gas braai for us to use. The staff were friendly and polite. All in all a wonderful stay, will recommend it to anyone who wishes to visit Harrismith.
