Nestled on the edges of the savannah boundary of the Reserve, lies Cashan Cottage. With its uninterrupted views of the picturesque waterhole, it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a uniquely South African experience.
The original mud brick “Outspan Station” is named after Kgwashwane, the powerful chief of the Kwena Mmatau tribe. Built in the 1800’s, for travellers wishing to rest their oxen, this beautiful cottage has recently been restored and refurbished into a luxury serviced, self-catering establishment.
Perfectly suited for two couples or a family of four, Cashan Cottage is equipped with two en-suite bedrooms, with double beds, as well as electric fans and heaters for the winter.
