We have decorated every unit with a distinct ambience and character to give guests an experience as far removed from the impersonal assembly-line quality of large hotel franchises as possible.

Kayamandi Suite:
Named for the lively and bustling informal settlement north of Stellenbosch, the Kayamandi Suite offers a uniquely African experience, with decor inspired by the eclectic and improvised feeling of informal housing. This Suite offers a fully equipped kitchenette, air-conditioning, a queen-sized bed with 205 thread-count cotton percale linen, a flat-screen TV with a selection of DStv channels, wireless internet reception and a beautiful private garden.

Colonial Suite:
The decor of this suite is inspired by the meeting of European and African culture and celebrates the energy and vibrancy that results from any such cross-pollination. This results in extensive use of lively patterns, bright colours and unusual juxtaposition of objects. The suite offers a fully equipped kitchenette, air-conditioning, 205 thread-count cotton percale linen, a flat-screen TV with a selection of DStv channels, wireless internet reception and a private veranda facing our herb-garden.

Honeymoon Suite:
Our sumptuous Honeymoon Suite offers a decadently sensual space, ideal for your wedding night or the perfect romantic getaway. The open-plan shower and Jacuzzi bath invites you to indulge in your passionate side, while the enclosed garden guarantees complete privacy. The central inspiration for the decor in the Honeymoon Suite is playing contrasting textures against each other, creating a sensual feast of raw brick, bare cement, textured wood and various metals against a backdrop of warm, wine-red walls.

The suite comes equipped with mini-bar, tea and coffee station, air-conditioning, a fireplace, a queen-sized bed with 205 thread-count cotton percale linen, a flat-screen TV with a selection of DStv channels and wireless internet reception.

Mirror Room:
A cosy and comfortable retreat, the Mirror Room is the ideal no-mess, no-fuss solution for business travellers or a perfect base from which to explore the bustling night-life the Cape Winelands has to offer. The decor has a retro, jewel-box feeling to it, with walls painted in bold vertical gold, black and green stripes and a multitude of mirrors in antique frames creating dazzling reflected perspectives.

The suite comes equipped with mini-bar, tea and coffee station, air-conditioning, a queen-sized bed with 205 thread-count cotton percale linen, a flat-screen TV with a selection of DStv channels, wireless internet reception and a great private balcony offering a stunning view of the Stellenbosch Mountains.

Breakfast

A full breakfast is served daily in our dining room. Guests are started off with a fresh fruit salad and coffee or tea, after which they are served a cooked breakfast. All produce is seasonal and sourced locally, as well as using herbs from our own garden. We also take into consideration special dietary requirements, and will gladly cater for such individuals.

Facilities

The house also has a bar with TV where we screen all major sporting events, a swimming pool with outdoor Jacuzzi and spacious outdoor entertainment area where guests can savour the beautiful South African climate.

The house is also a functional art gallery, constantly evolving as we acquire new pieces. If our guests see something they desire to take home with them, they are free to purchase it. We will arrange for shipping to any destination in the world.

Green Policy

Last, but not least, we are strongly committed to being as eco-friendly as we can, by composting, recycling, rain-water harvesting and using green gardening practices. This is rooted in a firm belief that we are all custodians of the Earth, entrusted with a responsibility to future generations to ensure they inherit a planet with clean air, drinkable water and a healthy eco-system.
