Accommodation

Guests enjoy the exclusivity of the 8000-acre authentic African- bush nature reserve. The secluded, spacious lodge, overlooking a panoramic landscape is open aired and light, with thatch insulating against the African summer heat. The interior designed living area is comfortably furnished in a classic safari style combined with a contemporary feel, with a fire place strategically positioned which warms against the winter chill.

The stylish lounge and dining room leads to a wooden deck with spectacular views of a water hole and lush valleys in the distance. Upstairs hosts an intimate recreation area and our three elegant bedrooms are all equipped with en-suite bathrooms all with views of the bush. A short walk from the main lodge is a secluded plunge pool overlooking the unspoiled verdant indigenous forest for those hot summer days.

Flora and Fauna

Hopewell Private Game reserve is home to an abundance of flora and fauna including over 285 species of birds, a herd of elephant, rhino, hippo, giraffe, zebra, cheetah, a variety of antelope and other indigenous species, all this is consistent with a balanced eco-system. Activities

Activities available on the reserve range from game drives and nature walks, mountain biking and archery, bird watching from three hides situated around the property, sundowners in a tree house or simply relax by the pool or at the lodge where friendly staff are ready to attend to your every need.
