The Hilton Bed n Breakfast is a small, select residence situated in the heart of Hilton village. It is only 1km from the town centre, 15 minutes from Howick Falls and historic Pietermaritzburg, and one hour from the city of Durban. In addition we are close to Tala Game Reserve, the Midlands Meander Craft Route and adjoin the KwaZulu Natal Battlefields. The property borders a wetland and has a beautiful distant view of the Drakensberg, which is easily accessible for day trips. AccommodationHilton BnB offers four modern, comfortable, upmarket, double bedrooms - all en-suite, some with private entrances. All have television with limited DSTV, tea and coffee facilities and heaters for those chilly nights. There is a spacious comfortable communal lounge, and breakfast is served in the adjacent dining area. Breakfast & DiningBreakfast is included in the rate and there are a number of restaurants in the area catering for lunch and supper. Dinner in-house is also available by arrangement. LocationHilton BnB is conveniently placed for access to Hilton College, St Anne’s College, Cedara Agricultural College, Cowan House, Cordwalles Prep School, The Wykeham Collegiate, and Grace College. The village itself has all the necessary amenities such as shops, restaurants and gyms. FacilitiesStaying at the BnB offers the business traveller in the area an ideal opportunity to do business in Pietermaritzburg and environs, and then stop over in Hilton to recharge batteries. We have WiFi access and cater for late arrivals and early departures. Heinz and Rosalind Galla-Barth extend to guests the high level of service and warm hospitality that they have sought and only sometimes found during their travels around the world. In addition to English, Mandarin and German speaking visitors will feel especially at home. Attractions & ActivitiesHilton itself is a country village, high on the escarpment overlooking Pietermaritzburg. It is rural but at the same time close to the amenities of city life in Pietermaritzburg and Durban. Hilton is fortunate to be situated at the southern gateway to the KwaZulu Natal Midlands Meander with its numerous of arts and crafts studios and outlets. One of the largest displays of local ethics souvenirs and curios in the country is to be found in Howick.
