We enjoyed our stay at the lodge. The place is very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was nice, hot and never late. I appreciated the fact that management was very quick in problem solving because we had issues with hot water on the room that we initially booked but she quickly arranged another room for us which there was hot water available and problem was solved. The only disadvantage about the room we moved to, was the fact that we could hear the other couple talking/urging and i'm pretty sure they must have heard us too. Therefore, sound proof is a problem on Zambesi room unlike the Timbivati room that we booked which was privately on the ground floor. Thanks to the staff, they were friendly and helpful too. Thanks to Eleanor (The manager) who was very friendly and very quick in response whenever you have questions about the place, she would promptly respond to emails. NB!! Kindly improve on the cleanliness of the place (By the sink and Shower), I believe it can be better than how we found it (Zambesi suite). Thank you kindly

Very welcoming and hospitable staff. Breakfast was good. Good view of the dam. Need to improve sound proof and wooden floor noise in the upper rooms. Improve toilet privacy/ door that closes completely and new towels.

Lovely weekend away, amazing view of the dam. Peaceful and relaxing.

The lodge is a small heaven. The place is peaceful it feels as if you are the only guests. We had the pool to ourselves in the morning, afternoon and in the evening. The highlight of the stay has to be the picnic basket that was prepared for us and we enjoyed the picnic by the lake.

Our stay at Hartebeespoort dam was exceptional. We received a lovely clean room. We had a beautiful view over the dam from the room's balcony. I went to this place on easter weekend what a place to be for peace of mind n the stuff was very friendly. I have been around but this place take a cup all thanks to Eleanor ,Pink and the team keep up the good work

We had a lot of fun me & Mpho. The place is definitely for lovers you get to bond and revive your love.. Eleanor is the best hostess we loved the picnic basket we had our picnic next to the pool overlooked the dam while it was sun set.

Hartbeespoort Dam Lodge is nothing short of AMAZING!!! Eleanor is by far the best hostess I have ever come across. She really went out of her way to make our recent stay at the lodge fit for royalty!!! We LOVED every minute of our stay there.... so much so that we didnt want to leave. What a beautiful place! I have never seen such a relaxing place like this one.We had a wonderful time of our life.Everything was oustanding.When you need a peace of mind just visit the place.You will only hear birds singing in the bush.Wow! the view was out of this world.

Everything was brilliant - The food the service the warmth in the welcome even the other guest were all so lovely. Eleanor is a great host and really goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and at home. The extras that you get in your room and the food was divine.

Where oh where to begin? EXCELLENT... EXCELLENT... EXCELLENT... !!!! Beautiful rooms coupled with an awesome 180degree view of the dam... A calm relaxing night life. A 5star mouth watering breakfast. My girlfriend and i stayed at Hartbeespoort dam lodge and found that it was much more than we expected, Finally! some peace and quiet and a fantastic view from our suite, not to mention the best hospitality i have ever seen at a lodge anyware. I will definatly come again and recommend this lodge to my friends. it is really acceptional value for money and what you get in return. Thanks alot Eleanor! you are number 1 in my books
