We thoroughly enjoyed our three days stay at Groenfontein Farm and wished we had arranged to stay longer. Marti and Hendrik looked after us so well and although we booked for b. & b., dinner, with wine was brought to us to enjoy in the old and spacious farmhouse. Hot sunshine in February - ostriches in the field opposite - birdsong and peace -- the wine was pretty good too!

Wow what a fabulous little haven ! travelling through the wonderful Klein Karoo was a fantastic experience. The peace and quiet is magical, this little oasis is a special place i will always remember from the warm welcome we recieved to the amazing scrambled ostrict eggs we enjoyed for breakfast.
Travelling through this most beautiful area leaves you breathless, this amazing place offers natural wonders of the mountains and valleys with the comforts of a lovely family home. Next time we visit we are staying for longer, the most relaxing place I have ever visited.....AMAZING!!! thank you |

Our stay was beyond all expectations in terms of Klein Karoo emotions.
What a quiet and peaceful place! Staying at Groenfontein farm is definitely the best way to experience the beauty of this valley and its magnificent surroundings.
