The original settler homestead dates back to the mid 1800’s but has been extensively renovated and extended and offers luxury accommodation in six suites, each individually and tastefully furnished.

Each unit has its own entrance and is equipped with a fan, heater, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and all bathroom amenities. Bathrooms all have both shower and bath. Down duvets and luxury linen ensure your comfort and warmth. Units are serviced daily. Smoking is not permitted indoors. Parking is secure and undercover.
The Victorian Suite (sleeps 2):

The Bushman Suite (sleeps 2):
Warm and earthy décor, full en-suite bathroom. The entrance patio overlooks House Dam. (Beds: 1 x double).
The Nguni Suite (Family Unit - sleeps 4):
A spacious room with a generous full en-suite bathroom. A camping cot may be made available for an infant. The patio overlooks House Dam. (Beds: 1 x King / Twins plus two x single (bunk bed).
The Guineafowl Suite (Family Unit - sleeps 4):
This unit comprises a room with a double bed, and through a curtained doorway an adjoining room with two single beds (bunk bed) with a full en-suite bathroom. A camping cot may be made available for an infant. (Beds: 1 x Double plus two x single (bunk bed).
The Oak Suite (sleeps 2):
Sunny and spacious with a full en-suite bathroom, overlooking a beautifully landscaped courtyard. A camping cot may be made available for an infant. (Beds: 1 x King or 2 x single).
The Lavender Suite (sleeps 2):
Spacious room with a full en-suite bathroom, overlooking our colourful gardens. A camping cot may be made available for an infant. (Beds: 1 x King or 2 x single).
All rates include for a full country breakfast comprising a choice of fruit juices, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruits in season, toast and muffins, crumpets or scones, jams and preserves, eggs of your choice together with cook’s selection of the day which may include bacon, beef / pork / chicken / mutton sausage, tomato, mushrooms, fritters, fried onions / leeks / potatoes … or whatever! And tea or freshly brewed coffee! Vegetarian or special diets catered for on request with prior notice.
Delicious home cooked dinners are available by prior arrangement. Similarly, a braai (barbecue) or a potjie can be arranged (sorry - no self-catering facilities available)

Fly fishing:
Three of our dams are well stocked with trout. Nominal rod fee applies. Catch and release. The dams also contain large-mouth bass, active in the summer months. Bass may be kept. Own gear to be supplied.
Peaceful Gardens and Country Walks:
Relax in the garden, picnic on the banks of a dam, or take a leisurely stroll around the farm. Wonderful birding (over 150 species) and small game to be seen. Farm animals include docile and colourful Nguni cattle, fluffy alpacas, huggable donkeys, Shorty the Shetland pony, Piglet the Potbelly and beautiful Bantams with their chicks. Scenic, peaceful surroundings, safe and secure.
