Situated among the majestic mountains of Stellenbosch, heart of the Cape Winelands, this home away from home is the ideal place to relax after a round on the golf course or a day on the wine route. Edelweiss is a highly rated, upmarket Bed & Breakfast in the quiet residential area of Paradyskloof, Stellenbosch.

We are situated directly opposite the entrance to Stellenbosch Golf Course. Being so close to the R44, we have easy access to Techno Park (ideal for the business traveller), wine routes and the beaches of False Bay.

Edelweiss is a German name, meaning noble (edel) white (weiss). The little flower with its woolly, white leaves and yellow flower heads, grows at 2000 to 2900 m altitude and is native to the European Alps. It is the national flower of Austria and it is strictly protected in the wild (also in Switzerland and Germany).

Accommodation

Edelweiss B&B offers affordable, luxury accommodation in five newly decorated double rooms, each with a beautiful new en-suite bathroom and private entrance with security gate. All rooms have an electronic safe, ceiling fan, bar fridge, luggage racks and a heater in the bathroom. Hair dryers are available on request.

Your hosts, Mollie and Willi Kern, will ensure that you enjoy the best of true South African and Austrian hospitality. Upon arrival we offer our guests a complimentary beverage on the patio (weather permitting) where we will then make suggestions, depending on their plans, for the rest of the day or night. We gladly assist in planning your day trips, wine tasting, golf rounds and restaurant bookings.
