Edel Haus has its own entrance; the secure double garage has an automated door with direct access to the house. The lounge sliding doors open to a private patio with mountain views and guests can enjoy the shared swimming pool set in the beautiful manicured garden. Three double bedrooms, with 4th bedroom off enclosed courtyard - the spacious air-conditioned main bedroom has queen sized bed, mountain and garden views with sliding door onto patio. The large, luxurious en-suite bathroom has shower, bath, double basins, toilet and bidet. There are two double bedrooms; both with twin beds, and a full bathroom, all rooms have superior bed linen and towels. The 4th bedroom with double bed has a separate entrance from the courtyard and an en-suite shower bathroom.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
