Kenilworth Accommodation / Coote's Cottage Kenilworth Accommodation / Holiday Cottage in Kenilworth

Built in the late 1800's this charming cottage has been elegantly restored to its former glory. Exquisitely furnished with Victorian period pieces it offers guests a luxurious experience.

Coote's Cottage dates back to the 1880's and has been lovingly restored and furnished with period pieces. It provides self-catering accommodation of the highest standard right in the heart of the Cape Peninsula.

Accommodation

The Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, a lovely sunny entrance room, a dining room, a lounge with satellite TV and one bedroom with an en-suite Victorian bathroom. There is an exquisite, small and totally private Japanese-style garden. The cottage is best suited to a couple (or one person). However the dining room can be configured to include a day bed which would be suitable for a child or adult. A cot can be provided if needed. The bathroom is en-suite and can only be reached through the bedroom.

Services

• The cottage is serviced daily except for Sundays and Public Holidays.
• A laundry service can be arranged.

Entertaining

Should you wish to entertain, the cottage can be re-configured to allow for a sit down dinner for up to 28 people or a cocktail party for up to 40 - we can advise on an excellent catering company and can do absolutely everything for you should you so require. We have had many evenings and lunches to remember.

Conferences

We have had several very successful conferences of up to 16 delegates. The largest room is configured to seat 16 people in a U formation. There are two breakaway rooms and, if the weather is fine, a delightful but very small, private Japanese-style garden. We provide a whiteboard and markers, but any other equipment must be provided by you. We offer teas and lunches if you wish or you can make your own arrangements.

Location

Coote's Cottage is situated in a quiet part of residential Kenilworth but is within easy reach of major shopping areas and there are many restaurants very close by including some within walking distance. Within 20 minutes enjoy a comfortable drive to Table Mountain National Park, Rhodes Memorial, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Groot Constantia, the City Bowl, the V&A Waterfront or the beaches in False Bay, Table Bay, Hout Bay or the Atlantic Seaboard.
